Where is the coolest place you have ever lived (besides Columbus, Ohio of course)?
Houston - So much to do! Quite possibly the friendliest big city in America.
Where is your favorite travel destination?
For a mix of relaxation, outdoor activities and site-seeing, I love the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York.
What is the coolest job (besides this one) that you have ever had?
I worked in the public information office at the city of Waco, Texas. I edited newsletters, organized the city’s first web site and helped produce municipal access TV programs. Ask me sometime about tornado preparedness exercises, municipal water systems or the gigantic gorilla on Austin Avenue!
What is your favorite sport to participate in?
Road cycling. I'm part of a local team and we raise money for cancer research at Ohio State's James Cancer Hospital through a big cycling event called Pelotonia.
Who is your favorite Dr. Seuss character and why?
The obsessive Fish in The Cat in the Hat, because I played this character in college Readers Theater productions and I can identify with him on some level!
What is your favorite season? Why?
I love early autumn. Cooler weather, fall colors, pumpkin patches, apple cider...need I say more?
